The Signature
Sarah storms down the hallway with the unstoppable force of someone whose heels, dignity, and patience have all been personally victimized by the office carpet.
SARAH
“GREEEEEEG! My email signature looks WRONG. Fix it.”
GREG
(glances up with the enthusiasm of a dying printer)
“It’s literally your name and your job title.”
SARAH
“Yes, but the font doesn’t communicate that I run this place with fabulous authority.”
GREG
“It says ‘Marketing Manager.’ That’s… accurate.”
SARAH
“No, babe. It needs personality. Sparkle. Motion. A vibe. When people read it, I want them to feel seen.”
GREG
“It’s an email, not a spiritual awakening.”
SARAH
“Greg. Sweetie. My signature is my brand.”
GREG
“Your brand is three overdue campaigns and a broken ring light.”
SARAH
(gasps, offended)
“That ring light was sabotaged by negative energy.”
GREG
“Yeah. Also gravity.”
SARAH
“Just make it pretty.”
GREG
“…It’s a signature, not a carnival float.”
